Formed by the violinist, the cellist Leonor Mateus and the pianist Francisco Costa, Dialecticae Piano Trio emerged in the academic year 2018/2019 as one of the ensembles of the Chamber Music class of Paulo Pacheco, at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa (ESML). In 2019, and already with a remarkable development in this discipline, this Trio represented ESML at the Harmos Festival in Porto, performed in concert at the European Chamber Music Teachers Association (ECMTA) Meeting in Lisbon and was semi-finalist at the Ysaÿe International Music Competition in Liège (Belgium). Two years later, the consistency and solidity of the pedagogical and artistic trajectory of this Trio culminated with the awarding of the 1st Prize in the Chamber Music Competition (superior level) of Prémio Jovens Músicos, organized by the Portuguese Radio and Television. The Dialecticae Piano Trio has performed in several venues, including: Main Auditorium of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Sala 2 of Casa da Música, Vianna da Motta Auditorium, Casa da Cultura de Gião, Museu da Música and Fundação Oriente Auditorium.
